I prioritize development, transparency, participation and well-being - values that guided me in preparing my election program

DEVELOPMENT of the University

Consistent development of the University is necessary to maintain Our University's position among the leading scientific units in the country and to increase its international recognition. Development is understood by me as a process of continuous improvement in key areas, which, according to the mission of Our University, are modern education and research for health and medicine development. I feel that development is not possible without an engaged, co-determining and dynamic academic community. Hence, activities aimed at developing the professional competence and skills of research and teaching staff, clinicians, administrative personnel, doctoral students and students are at the forefront. I also place great importance on the continuous improvement of teaching and learning processes, support for the highest quality of scientific research, support for the activities of the management of the medical entities of which we are the founding body, and the strengthening of teaching, research and clinical infrastructure.

TRANSPARENCY of rules and principles

Transparency is a key element in building trust and accountability in any public institution, including Our University, which strives to create an environment conducive to academic, scientific and social development. Transparency of rules and policies is the foundation for building trust and commitment in the academic community, which as a consequence is open, ethical and oriented towards continuous development. It is also clear and unambiguous communication about planned activities, methods of implementation and assumed results. Orienting the University to act with high standards in this area will help to effectively meet today's educational and research challenges, while at the same time highlighting the role of Our University as an institution that serves society.

PARTICIPATION - openness to the voice of the community

Participation is a key element in building an open and inclusive atmosphere at Our University. I am committed to enabling all stakeholders in the University community to express their opinions, exchange ideas and co-shape the academic environment. I would like to build positive relationships with colleagues and make the organization's operations more flexible by adequately planning, organizing and understanding every activity, with the participation of employees, at every level of the organization. As a result, an academic environment that functions in this way will emanate beyond the university itself, influencing local communities and contributing to social, cultural and economic development. This will require Us to create appropriate mechanisms for effective communication and dialogue among all members of the academic community, as well as the University's openness to change and flexibility in management. I believe that this will make Our academic community more dynamic, creative and capable of responding to the rapidly changing challenges of the modern world.

WELL-BEING of the academic community

Well-being, or the comprehensive sense of satisfaction and welfare of those belonging to the academic community, is key to building the future of Our University. The goal of satisfaction and contentment of being an integral part of our community applies to everyone from students, doctoral students, university teachers, research staff to the administrative personnel and technical support staff. In this environment, well-being should be interpreted not only as high quality mental and emotional health, but also physical health and other aspects of social and academic life. No less important is the issue of a sense of appreciation, including the material one. Understanding in this way the challenge noticed and defined by the GUMed community in the surveys conducted, I would like to present a series of activities and actions aimed at bringing closer the achievement of the highest level of job satisfaction at MUG.
