Michał Markuszewski, Prof. Dr. Habil.

Professor of pharmaceutical sciences, Vice Rector for Science (since 2020), Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Medical Univeristy of Gdansk from 2016 to 2020. In 1995, he graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy of MUG, five years later he defended his doctoral thesis. He spent the years 2000 - 2002 on a prestigious postdoctoral fellowship at the Himeji Institute of Technology in Japan. He also held shorter scientific internships in Germany (University Bremen), the Netherlands (Eindhoven University of Technology) and in Belgium (Vrije Universiteit Brussel). He earned his habilitation degree in 2007 and professorship in 2017
